Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre
£350m shopping centre in the middle of the city which has helped transform the area. It is now a big landmark in the city centre. Trinity was the biggest new shopping centre in Western Europe when it was opened and it now employs 3,000 people. It’s fair to say that it reshaped the city centre and proved that big bets on Leeds tend to pay off.
One of the most important pieces of transport infrastructure in the country
Leeds Station is one of the most important pieces of transport infrastructure in the country, and one of the busiest train stations. With proposals for HS2, HS3 and rail growth, a masterplan is helping to guide this future development representing £500 million including a new Station Campus, multiple entrances and a Common Concourse. To ensure a seamless interchange between HS2 and the current station, Neville Street will be pedestrianised and Dark Arches transformed.
M1 and M42 link straight into the city, giving easy access to pretty much everywhere in the country by road.
This is the UK’s fastest-growing regional airport and one of the busiest in the North. It is located 25 minutes from the city by car and opens up the region to the world.
